JOB SUMMARY
An AWS Cloud Engineer is capable to manage customers second and third level of support. Knows AWS Best Practices and is responsible of deploying AWS solutions like a whole Landing Zone, VPCs, EC2, EKS, or others as well as performing troubleshoot during customer/platform incidents.
Additionally, AWS Cloud Engineer can document processes, generate Work Instructions and train others to collaborate in knowledge sharing.
Last, but not least, an AWS Cloud Engineer will provide consultancy to specific customer needs during projects.
Job responsibilities that are specific to the position:
Monitor the ticketing queues to ensure resolution is accordance with defined service level agreements.
Maintain a ‘transparent’ relationship with internal teams and customers.
Resolving application issues across IaaS/PaaS/SaaS.
Interpreting and maintaining systems documentation.
Provide root cause analysis of reported incidents.
Knows about “Security First” Best Practices in AWS
Experience working and understanding AWS Cloud Watch and Cloud Trail.
Experience on VDC (Virtual Data Centre) to create Data Center on AWS using Best Practice Model (Organization + OU + Account + Resources).
Expertise on maintaining on AWS platform service like but not limited to IAM, Directory, EC2, S3, VPC, CloudFront, OpsWorks, Amazon Inspector, Direct Connect, Cloud Formation, CI/CD, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, RDS, Route 53, Load Balancer, Lamda, Database Migration, AWS Config, etc.
Understanding of AWS Identity Center, Windows Active Directory SSO Integration, Organization
TECHNICAL SKILLS
5+ years of IT experience.
3+ years of relevant experience on AWS platform administration.
Experience working and understanding AWS Monitoring tool and Dashboards.
Experience supporting systems by optimizing performance, resolving production problems, and providing timely follow-up on reported problems.
Experience with root cause and troubleshooting concepts.
Experience with scripting.
Experience providing consultancy related to AWS Services
Experience doing cost analysis
Experience designing and implementing AWS Solutions based on customer requirements
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or in related field.
AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification
AWS Solutions Architect Certification

- Fluent English language skills required
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Experience working with multicultural teams and customers.
- Self-motivated and disciplined.
- Excellent meeting facilitation skills, including teleconference and web conference.
- Ability to make decisions and resolve incidents.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to Management, team members and customers.
